ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Well hı there everyone, yeh I know ıts been a whıle (too long you all say) well dont worry ım back agaın, and thıs tıme ım not payıng rent.
Left romanıa a few days ago, ıts been a long tıme commıng I can tell you. It was startıng to feel lıke just been unemployted rather than been on holıday, too long ın one place, way too long. Otılıa, my Romanıan gırlfrıend was very upset about me leavıng but I have to admıt I was glad to be out of there. Fırst ıt was down ınto Bulgarıa, a nıce lıttle coastal town called Varna. I recommend ıt, very nıce and the people are fantastıc. After that ıt was further south ınto Istanbul (a 9 hour bus journey, that was a drag I can tell you) Istanbul ıs amazıng, ıts not every cıty that has a sea runnıng through the mıddle of ıt. Well worth a vısıt or two by anyone who ısnt braın washed by the pro amerıcan medıa and belıeves that ıslam ıs the rout of all evıl. The turkısh people are some of the nıcest Ive met on thıs whole trıp.
Rıght now Im ın Ankara vısıtıng some frıends.
I have to say ıt feels great to be on the road agaın, dont know ıf I could ever gıve thıs up for too long.
Well thats all for now so..........
Tıll next tıme..........

I know, im crap

OK, OK, so its been a while. Nearly a month in fact but hey, im back now. Cant remember where i was last time i filled this in so heres a quick run down. After buda pest we hit belgrade in serbia. A good town but nithing too much to see there. There were some bombed out buildings in the centre of town though which were quite cool to look at. Then we moved on to buccarest, where i am now. As you will all probably know we are living here for a few months, had to rest somewhere and that somewhere turned out to be here. Its cheap and its not too bad a city. The bars are cool and the women are nice!!!!!! I never change do i.
Well thats it for now the next few monthes are gonna be pretty un eventful. But never mind.
Till next time

You go to Yugo

Hi there folks, its me again this time coming to you from Yugoslavia. Belgrade to be exact, in Serbia. Only been here a couple of days but its looking like a fun place. Found a great bar to get drunk in and a great restaurant to eat in, what more could a guy ask for. Well if you put it like that a great woman to eat and drink with but hey, we can't have everything can we. Left Budapest on Sunday, that was an awesome place, as I said before. We will only be here for a few days then we are thinking of going to Cosovo, should be interesting. That's about all for now.
Till next time

A WOBBLY TIME ON SOLID GROUND

Ok, so first a confession. I'm really in Kipax, that's right I never left England. When Debbie left us in the airport we immediately jump on a bus and went north. And that's where I am right now.
Ok, you got me. All the above is complete twaddle. Me and Stefan are still in Budapest, Its a fantastic city. The history here is amazing. Along with the beer. Yeh, we've sampled plenty of beer since getting here. Too much as usual but what else is there to do. Its too cold to stay outside on an evening so we have to go somewhere.
Yui Chi, the crazy Canadian, left yesterday. We are gonna meet up with him in Rumania. He plans to move in with us when we find an apartment there. We cant wait to just stop in one place for a few months, no more moving around every few days. Its gonna be great to relax and just chill. All this traveling lark is fun but we are getting tired of living out of bags and jumping on buses or trains every few days. Listen to me winging, as if its hard work. Well it is I tell you, it is. All this beer really knocks it out of ya. Back to the present though Budapest is great. Any of you who have never been, I recommend you get of your rears and get here. After all, easyjet fly here so it wont be long before the place is completely destroyed by English tourists. Just like Prague.
that's all for now so till next time..........

Hungry in Hungary

I know its been a while comming but here it is folks. The latest instalement. Where did I leave off last time. Zakopane. After we left there we travelled into slovakia, had to walk across the border, men with guns (scary stuff) Then jumped onto a bus to a town called stary mocovich (something like that any way) The place had been wiped out by a major act of nature a few days earlier. The surrounding forrest was gone and the town had no water at all. Needless to say we didnt stay. Jumped on another bus to a small one horse town called Lavoce (spelt correctly for the first time) We stayed there for a few days as it was cheap and the accomodation was the best we had stayed in for ages. While there we trecked up a hill for 2k to check out this church. The wind was blowing, there was thick snow on the ground, it was still snowing so bad we couldnt see further than 20m. We didnt even know if we were going in the right direction. After an hours treck we finally reached the church and it was closed. Back down the hill we whent. Met a crazy canadian while we were there called Yiu Chi (born in china) Hes still with us going all the way to Budapest. We have infested him with our wierdness. After Lavoce it was off to Bratislava, there was no one home when we got there. Much like the whole of Slovakia. Its like a one horse country! After a few days we jumoped onto a bus and it was off to the hugarian border. According to the guy in the hostel the bus would drop us off within a few meters of the border. Yeh right! After a 3k treck we were finally at the border point. (men with guns again) Then after going through the border we found that the train station was another 3k away, off we trecked again. Finally a few hours later we arrived at gyor, the third largest town in Hungary. We actually stayed in a hostel in the universaty, young student girls everywhere. PHWOOOOOAAARRRRR
On the second night there we got wind of a party going on in the bar just behind the university, guess who crashed the party. At some point in the night we all got split up, Yiu Chi was drunk so whent home. Stefan was dancing his heart out and I was disstracted by a nubile blonde who couldnt even speak english but didnt seem to care. as I stumbled back through the corridors of the accommodation block in the early hours I tripped over a body laid in the corridor. Thinking nothing off it i proceeded to our room. Once in the room I realised the body I had tripped over was Stefans. So it was off down the corridor for me to retrieve my fallen comrade. As I picked him off the floor and led him down to our room he was still fast asleep. The following morning he couldnt remember a thing about it. Turn4es out all he could remember was banging on the door to try and get Yiu Chi to let him in and, after having no luch, collapsed on the floor and passed out. He had no luck as it wasnt even our room, or our corridor for that matter.
Any way a day later we left gyor and came here, Keszthely. Its a nice town by the Balaton lake. Theres apparently a big night in one of the clubs down the road tonight so we will just have to make an appearence.
Thats all for now so till next time

Its cold, its damn cold

Well here I am folks, your intrepid explorer has reached the Tatra mountains. The town is Zakopane and it looks like your average Christmas card. To say its beautiful is an understatement. When we arrived there was no snow at all, for a moment we thought it may have been a wasted trip, but then slowly as the day went on it started to snow. By the time we awoke this morning the entire area was white. We are staying right up at the top of a hill over looking the town, the view is awesome. There is a cable train that runs from the small street (doesn't even class as a village) Down to the main town. Its a fun ride, only complaint is that it stops running at 18.00 so there will be no late nights out for us in this town. Suppose that's a good thing though. We need a break. The town centre itself is fantastic, there is one street that consists entirely of wooden buildings. The guest house where we are staying and all the buildings near it are also made of wood, there are even horse drawn sleds going up and down the street, all we need is Sandy Claws. It gets dark early round here, around 15.30 so yesterday we sat in a bar next to a log fire and drank cola while watching the snow fall. This is the life. Feels quite strange though when you consider just over a month ago we were swimming and snorkeling in the Med. It really feels like we have gone round the world, Mr Fogg eat your heart out.
Unfortunately Stefan has lost his bank card so we may be staying here for longer than expected so he can get a new one, he's sorting it out today so we should know by the end of the day.
That's it for the moment so till next time......

The cant-its-blurry tales by charles wiggins

So whats been going on down here in hot? and sunny? Poland. Well for starters its cold and I mean damn cold. Then theres the rain, its wet, and I mean wet. Like that realy fine rain that soaks you through? As opposed to the dry rain which we get quite a lot in England???? But on the plus side the women just get better looking each day, much like me? And the beer is a damn site better than the rubish we have to drink back home. Left Warsaw on Monday, 7 days after getting there, for Krakow. Krakow is as amazing as ever. Seem to have been drunk for most of the time, I realy do have to cut down. Didnt get to bed till 7.30 this morning, was up all night getting to know an american chick. At 19 I should know better, shes far too old??!! Heading off to Zakopane in the morning, way up in the Tatra mountains, and Im complaining about the cold here. Im gonna freeze my arse off. Its a hell of an arse to freeze off though, damn sexy as you all know?
As for Stefan, hes ok. He dissapeared last night with a young Polish chick, dirty man that he is. You wouldnt find me doing anything of the sort I can tell you!!??
Once we reach the mountains we are gonna try some snowboarding, might as well break a few bones while were here, Ill let you all know how we get on in my next report. If I live to do one. Thats about all there is to tell at the moment, been here twice before so theres nothing much to say about the place that I havent said before. Things will get more interesting once we reach Zakopane. So thats about it, and Im spent!
Till next time.
